On Wednesday, May 27, a woman reported to officers she had been assaulted by Aucelio Juarez-Ruiz multiple times between February and April 2026. Following an investigation, Juarez-Ruiz was charged with aggravated assault by strangulation, aggravated assault on a domestic violence victim, aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury, terroristic threats involving a threat to kill, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, police said.
