The food service worker, who is going by “Sandra” to share her story, picked up a $10 Mega Bucks scratch-off in Crownsville and started scratching.
She hit $25 on the first number, then $1,000 on the next. Then another. And another.

Two Anne Arundel County police officers have been indicted for allegedly concealing their involvement in a high-speed pursuit that ended in a fatal crash last year, Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced Monday.
