Pedestrian Killed By Intoxicated Driver In Montgomery County Identified By Police A 39-year-old WSCC worker was killed after being struck by a DUI driver early Sunday, Sept. 8 in Montgomery County, police said. Clinton's Ernest Joseph Dyson was working at New Hampshire Avenue and Rodney Road in Hillandale, when he was struck by a 2011 Volkswagen CC around 4:40 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of a black 2011 Volkswagen CC was reportedly uninjured. Dyson, a WSSC Water employee, was on the job at the time he was struck, according to police. No additional details were provided. Tree Worker Killed When Extended Bucket Truck Overturns In Maryland, Officials Say A tree service worker was killed when a fully-extended bucket truck he was working in overturned Wednesday, June 5 in Montgomery County, responders said. The incident happened around 9:30 a.m. on the 8900 block of Sudbury Road in Silver Spring, Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Department said. The 60-year-old worker was pronounced dead at the scene, according to county police. The Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) was notified, MCFRD said. No further details were released.
