For the fourth time in a week, a motorcyclist was killed in a Maryland crash, this time in Prince George's County. At approximately 3:40 a.m. on Saturday morning, officers were called to the area of Pennsylvania Avenue and Parkland Drive, where there was a reported crash with a motorcyclist down. Two men are dead and a third was injured after a shooting in Prince George's County late on Thursday night, police say. Officers were called shortly before midnight on June 13 to the 7000 block of Berry Road to investigate a reported shooting at a car gathering in Accokeek, where they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. A 3-year-old girl is recovering at an area hospital and a teen is facing a weapons charge after the child accidentally shot herself inside a Montgomery Village apartment, police say. Shortly after noon on Tuesday, June 4, officers were called to the 18700 block of Walkers Choice Road, where there was a report of an injured child. Pedestrian Killed By Hit-Run Driver In Montgomery County, Police Say
One person was killed and a driver is at large following an early-morning crash involving a pedestrian in Montgomery County on Monday, according to police. An investigation was launched after a pedestrian was fatally struck shortly after 1:15 a.m. on June 3 in the 1000 block of University Boulevard in Takoma Park, investigators say. The driver then fled the scene and has not been located. It is now being investigated by the Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit. An investigation has been launched in Howard County after an apparent murder and attempted suicide that left three women dead and two dead. Officers were called at approximately 10 p.m. on Thursday night to the 6900 block of Norwood Ferry, when neighbors reported hearing gunshots.
