A teenager is facing criminal charges after stabbing another 16-year-old in the back during a fight in Frederick County, according to the sheriff's office. Before midnight on Saturday, Aug. 10, deputies were called to an area hospital, where there was a teenager suffering from a stab wound sustained during a fight in the Ballenger neighborhood earlier that night. Following the fight, the victim was taken to an area trauma center in stable condition, and the initial investigation determined he was in the area to fight the suspect who then attacked and stabbed him repeatedly in the back. Classes are set to resume at Joppatown High School following Friday's fatal shooting that claimed the life of 15-year-old Warren Curtis Grant. On Sept. 6, shortly after 12:30 p.m., deputies were called to the school, where they found Grant suffering from a gunshot wound, allegedly fired by 16-year-old Jaylen Prince, who was arrested over the weekend, the Harford County Sheriff's Office announced. The driver of a Ford-450 tow truck who struck and killed a 51-year-old man in April 2023 has been charged, police in Montgomery County announced on Friday afternoon. Kenneth McFadden Baldwin, 34, was arrested this week on a warrant charging him with multiple offenses for the fatal strike that took the life of Gaithersburg resident Juan Antonio Lamas Salcido last year. A 54-year-old man accused of sexually abusing a teen boy who worked for him in Howard County has been released from custody on Tuesday, police say. A 53-year-old Baltimore County man is facing at least a five-year prison stint after being implicated in a road rage incident when he brandished a handgun, state police say.
