What started as a routine traffic stop for a driver in Carroll County led to a man behind bars following a big drug bust, according to the sheriff's office. Members of the sheriff's office responded to a stretch of Middletown Road before 5 p.m. on Sept. 4, where there was a reported fatal crash in Waldorf.
