The man who produced videos "performing perverted acts with his dog," in St. Mary's County received the maximum sentence after being convicted of animal cruelty and other offenses. A pair of Montgomery County public high schools were ranked the best in Maryland, followed by some in Howard County, according to a new Niche report. A speeding 21-year-old motorcyclist was traveling at 164 mph before being involved in a fatal crash that took his life and that of a child, according to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.
