Some lanes were closed following a crash in Montgomery County that left a vehicle on its side and two people trapped inside on Wednesday afternoon. First responders were called shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 to the intersection of Clopper Road and Quince Orchard in Gaithersburg, where there was a reported crash with an entrapment. Fireworks led to a fiery Fourth of July for some first responders in Montgomery County who had to contend with several incidents on Thursday night. First responders were busy on July 4 as they responded to multiple fires that were reported across the county overnight. Crash Investigation Leads To Miles-Long Delays On I-295 In Anne Arundel County
Traffic was tied up on Tuesday afternoon in the northbound lanes of I-295 in Anne Arundel County as crews investigated a reported crash. Shortly before 1:40 p.m. on July 2, first responders were called to a stretch of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Arundel Mills Boulevard, where there was a reported crash with injuries. Officials said that two right lanes were blocked with one left lane getting by in the area during the crash investigation. Delays were reportedly 3.5 miles as of 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
