Police ID 18-Year-Old Found Shot To Death In Playground Area Of Montgomery County Park An investigation has been launched in Montgomery County after an 18-year-old from Silver Spring was shot to death in an area playground, authorities say. Christian Ortiz has been identified by police as the person who was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound near Seek Lane Park earlier this week, investigators announced on Thursday. According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, officers were called at around 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 1 to the area of Barron Street Drive and Domer Avenue, where there were reports of shots fired.
