Dog Bites Recycling Worker In Frederick—Officials Now Need Help Finding Owner The Frederick County Health Department is asking for the public’s help in tracking down the owner of a dog that bit a recycling truck worker Tuesday morning in Braddock Heights. The incident happened around 8:40 a.m. on Feb. 25, near the 6800 block of Potomac Avenue, when the worker was collecting recycling and was bitten by a dog being walked on a leash. An alert was issued on Friday, Dec. 27 advising the community that a cat from the 10th block of East Moser Road in Thurmont has a confirmed case of the virus, after it was taken in on Christmas Day.
