Wreck Causing Major Delays In Meriden A crash with injuries is causing a major delay on I-691 West in Meriden for the evening commute on Thursday, March 6.  The crash was reported around 4:45 p.m., forcing the state Department of Transportation to shut down Exit 1C to Route 15 North.  This is causing massive delays and traffic snarls in the area. Traffic is being diverted off Exit 68. Authorities are asking drivers to avoid this area if possible.  Police did not provide any information on the crash.
