According to officials, "extremely dry conditions persist across the state and have led to an above average number of wildfires statewide, and conditions are not expected to change in the near future." Flames From Unattended Burn Barrel Spread To Neighbor's Home In Cecil County: Fire Marshal A Cecil County family came home to an unwanted surprise over the weekend when flames from an unattended burn barrel spread from a neighbor's backyard into theirs, according to the Office of the Maryland Fire Marshal.
