The Prince George's County Police Department has released new details as it continues to investigate a deadly weekend shooting in Oxon Hill. Denis Zepeda Cruz, 30, has been identified by investigators as the person who was gunned down in Oxon Hill in what is believed to be a targeted attack. At about 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, Prince George's County police officers responded to a reported shooting in the 7300 block of Roanne Drive Upon arrival, they found Cruz outside suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police say. Police ID 38-Year-Old Man Found Dead On Side Of Prince George's County Road
Officers were flagged down early on Thursday morning in Prince George's County when passersby found a 38-year-old man suffering from several gunshot wounds on the side of a busy roadway, police say. Jeiver Pozuelos Cervantes has been identified by investigators as the victim who was killed in what is believed to have been a targeted attack, not a random crime in Riverdale. The man accused of fatally shooting a promising young boxer in Maryland is reportedly being held behind bars without bond. Nicholas Francis Xavier Giroux, 36, has been charged with multiple counts of murder in connection to the shooting of Odenton native Isaiah Oludayo Olugbemi, a well-known fighter in the DMV who won multiple Golden Glove championships.
