A jilted employee who opened fire at his former workplace and supervisor's office received a harsh sentence in St. Mary's County, authorities announced. Anne Arundel County police swarmed Meade High School in Severn on Thursday morning, January 23, following reports of a stabbing that left one student hospitalized. Threats of violence at a Prince George's County high school were proven to be unfounded, but not before giving some administrators a scare on Tuesday morning. Investigators were called in early on Sept. 24 to Bladensburg High School on 57th Avenue to probe a reported threat of violence that was made by a group of students, officials say.
