University Of Maryland Eastern Shore Students Killed, Critically Injured In Wrong-Way Crash: PD Two University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) students were killed, and two others suffered critical injuries after being struck head-on by a suspected intoxicated wrong-way driver in Delaware. Delaware State Police identified 22-year-old Eric Staley, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Willow Grove, Pennsylvania resident Makayla Belton, 18, as the two who were killed in a fatal crash on Sunday in Seaford involving a Honda Pilot and Nissan Rogue.
