New photos have been released by the University of Maryland Police Department as they continue their search for a suspect wanted in connection to a sex offense last month. In early September, members of the department responded to the 4600 block of College Avenue near the intersection of Princeton Avenue, where a student reported that she had been inappropriately touched. A police officer in Maryland has been convicted of misconduct in office after using a departmental cellphone to target at least two teens and high school students on social media while flaunting his powerful position, prosecutors say. What started as an investigation into a purported indecent exposure incident landed a man behind bars in St. Mary's County for a sex offense, the sheriff says.
