Father Killed In Head-On Maryland Crash: 'The World Is A Darker Place Now' A late-night head-on crash in Annapolis claimed the life of a beloved Crownsville man and left two others injured, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department. The fatal collision happened shortly before midnight on Thursday, Feb. 20, along Generals Highway near Knollwood Drive. Police say Jonathan David Rober, 47, was driving a 2015 Hyundai Sonata northwest on Generals Highway when the vehicle crossed the center line and slammed head-on into a 1997 Toyota 4Runner. Escaped Prisoner Back In Custody, Officials In Annapolis Say An escaped prisoner from Washington DC is back in custody hours later, police said. James Cash Gregory, 35, walked off from the Anne Arundel Medical Center campus at around 11 a.m. on June 13. He was an escaped prisoner from the Anne Arundel County Jennifer Road Detention Center, authorities said. Friday morning, June 14 around 9:15 a.m., officials said Gregory had been captured.
