Police say that a woman - whose name has not been disclosed - was found at approximately 7 a.m. in the 4700 block of Auth Place in Camp Springs at a crash scene involving one vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders who were on a routine patrol at the time, according to the police.
The investigation into the fatal crash led to road closures in the area,
Investigators remain at the scene and are working to determine the events that led up to the single-car crash on Friday morning.
