Teen Shot, Killed In Targeted Shooting At Prince George's County Gas Station, Police Say

An investigation has been launched in Maryland after a teenager was shot and killed over the weekend.

Robert Isiah Walker, 16, of Clinton, has been identified as the person who was shot and killed in the early hours of Saturday, Aug. 12, authorities confirmed.

Officers from the Prince George's County Police Department were called at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Saturday morning to a gas station in the 9800 block of Piscataway Road in Clinton, where there was a reported shooting.

Once inside the gas station, first responders found Walker suffering with gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, but it is believed to be a targeted attack, not a random crime, police said.

Detectives at the department are still investigating the incident.
