DUI Driver Kills Wscc Worker From Clinton: Police A 39-year-old WSCC worker was killed after being struck by a DUI driver early Sunday, Sept. 8 in Montgomery County, police said. Clinton's Ernest Joseph Dyson was working at New Hampshire Avenue and Rodney Road in Hillandale, when he was struck by a 2011 Volkswagen CC around 4:40 a.m., police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of a black 2011 Volkswagen CC was reportedly uninjured. Dyson, a WSSC Water employee, was on the job at the time he was struck, according to police. No additional details were provided. Worker Trapped In Rockville Trench Rescued, Airlifted To Hospital Several people were rescued after becoming trapped in a trench in Montgomery County, officials say. Rescue personnel were called to the 9600 block of Viers Drive shortly before 2 p.m., Thursday, July 21 to assist in the removal of three people from the trench, including one that was trapped, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue. One worker was able to self rescue, while another was assisted by officials.
