Twitter Back Up And Running After Major Outage
UPDATE: Twitter was back up and running as of 9:15 a.m. Twitter experienced the outage Thursday, July 14. While Twitter's status page said "all systems operational," tweets were not loading on the main domain and thousands of users reported issues on Downdetector. Downdetector users joked that if Twitter were working, Twitter would be "trending hard on Twitter right now."

Concerned Baltimore residents have taken to Twitter to express distaste in the city police department's use of a helicopter to monitor after-hours swimming in local pools.
