A convicted drug trafficker who ambushed and murdered a woman from Maryland who was dating the leader of a DC-area drug operation has been sentenced to decades in prison, federal authorities announced. Pureto Rico-native Jann Jousten Aponte-Rivera, 27, was sentenced on Wednesday to 50 years in prison for the drug-related murder of 42-year-old Frederick resident Shantay Myisha Butler, who was killed in retaliation for drug debts, officials say.
