Maritza Ramirez, 57, was sentenced in Montgomery County after she pleaded guilty to stealing and pawning off items from residents at Marian Assisted Living on Georgia Avenue, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. 100+ Displaced In Bowie Nursing Home Fire More than 100 residents were displaced after an alleged explosion at a nursing home in Bowie, authorities say. Initial reports of an explosion at the facility on the 15000 block of Health Center Drive came in at 3:42 a.m., Tuesday, June 14, according to the Prince George's Fire Department.  All 112 residents of the facility were transferred to neighboring facilities with the assistance of several area partners.
