University Of Maryland Student Wanted For On-Campus Assault: Police The University of Maryland Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect behind a recent assault on campus. The suspect was involved in a second-degree assault that happened at the McKeldin Library just before 10 a.m. on Monday, April 4, UMPD said.  The suspect is described as White male, between the ages of 18 and 20.
