A quiet Friday evening turned tragic after a double shooting in Prince George’s County left two men dead, police said. Officers responded to the 6200 block of Surrey Square Lane around 9:20 p.m. on Dec. 6, after receiving reports of a shooting. They found two adult males in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Prince George's County Police Department. The Prince George's County Police Department has released new details as it continues to investigate a deadly weekend shooting in Oxon Hill. Denis Zepeda Cruz, 30, has been identified by investigators as the person who was gunned down in Oxon Hill in what is believed to be a targeted attack. Police have identified 14-year-old Suitland resident Khamya Ferrell as the person who died in a shooting late last month that left two other adults with non-life-threatening injuries. Murder Suspect Found Killed One Year After Reportedly Committing DC Double Homicide
A man who was charged with murder twice last year has been killed, authorities say. The body of Raymond Khalil Jones, 28, was found shortly before 10 p.m. in the 4600 block of Dallas Place Friday, March 3, according to Prince George's County Police. Officers located Jones after responding to reports of a shooting in the area and pronounced him dead at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds. A $25,000 reward is being offered for information connected to the murder of a 19-year-old Washington, DC man, authorities say. Tolonzo Stephon Rhodes was found murdered inside of a car in the 3200 block of Swann Road, around 6:40 a.m., Friday, Feb. 10, according to a Prince George's County Police Department spokesperson. A $25,000 reward has been offered in connection to the murder of a 38-year-old Baltimore woman that happened in Suitland, authorities say. Andra Sweeper was found unresponsive with apparent trauma to her body inside of an apartment in the 3300 block of Curtis Drive on the night of Saturday, Feb. 4, according to Prince George's County police.
