Woman Killed By Hit-Run Driver In Prince George's County, Police Say A woman was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Prince George's County overnight, police say. Shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, officers from the Bladensburg Police Department were called to the 4500 block of Bladensburg Road when a woman was struck by a driver that sped away.  The woman - whose name has not been released - was taken to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Snow: New Projections Released For Thursday's Storm The weather in the Mid-Atlantic region has been so fickle lately it can be difficult to keep up with the reports, but experts now say the morning commute is going to be wet, cold and slippery.
