Man Waving Handgun Arrested In Anne Arundel: Police A Pasadena man was arrested after waving a handgun around in Glen Burie, authorities say. Officers arrested Paul Robert Bond Jr., 32, after responding to reports of a man waving a gun around and attempting to enter a vehicle on the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane around 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Police seized the loaded 9mm SCCY CPX-2 semi-automatic handgun and charged Bond Jr. accordingly, say police.

Homeowner Shoots Home Intruder In Baltimore County: Police A person trying to break into a Baltimore County house was shot by the homeowner over the weekend in Maryland, police said.  The homeowner took out a gun and shot the individual, someone they knew, while trying to break into their home on the 1000 block Howland Square around 10 p.m. on Sunday, Mar. 13, Baltimore County Police said. The injury did not appear to be life-threatening. How the two knew each other and the circumstances around the incident were not immediately clear. The investigation is ongoing.
