Graduation Fights In Montgomery County 'Embarrassment To Community,' Principal Says
What started as a day of celebration ended violently when a brawl broke out during a graduation ceremony in Silver Spring. Several fights were reported outside of John F. Kennedy High School in Silver Spring this week on the steps of Constitution Hall, according to Principal Vickie Adamson, who called the incident "an embarrassment to our community." Some recent graduates were part of the conflict, the principal said, but most of the conflicts involved adults and members of the community. A 43-year-old District man who ran in some questionable circles online will spend years behind for his role in a community of likeminded parties who have a predilection for violent child porn. Former Lieutenant Alan Rawlins died in the early morning morning hours of Wednesday, Oct. 5, according to the Rockville Police Department. A Maryland community is mourning the loss of one of their own after the passing of a City of Laurel Police Department employee, officials say. Communications Specialist Clifton F. Police in Baltimore County are looking for leads in a 2021 murder case nearly a year later. Rosario “Tony” Valenti died in an attack while leaving Papa's Smokehouse on North Point Boulevard in Dundalk on Feb. 28, 2021.
