Prince George's County Fire Department was on scene of a fire that broke out at a retail store in Clinton. While the cause of the fire has been ruled as undetermined by the department, unconfirmed reports claimed it was started after a row of paper towels was set on fire. A member of the Prince George's Police Department has been indicted on charges relating to an "unauthorized" pursuit in which two people died, authorities announced. Sergeant Shaun Urbina had already been suspended from the force when a grand jury indicted him on a misdemeanor charge of misconduct in office, PGPD shared on Thursday, March 3. A 33-year-old driver was killed and a second was critical after a head-on crash last week in Maryland, authorities said. Javonte Boddie, of Clinton, was heading south on Kenilworth Avenue in Cheverly, when he lost control, went off the road, roleld over and struck another car heading north around 5:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, Prince George's County police said. A man has been arrested after confessing to killing a professional boxer on Christmas Eve -- who was driving his family to dinner, according to police. Markell Lewis, 25, of Clinton has been arrested for the fatal shooting in Temple Hills of 30-year-old Danny Kelly Jr., Prince George's County Police said.
