Gunman Who Posted Photos Of Himself Before Rapper's Killing In Maryland Gets Prison Time The 32-year-old man who was convicted of murdering rapper Jahandar Darvish earlier this year in Montgomery County will spend decades in prison, according to authorities. On Tuesday, the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office announced that Frederick resident Mario Samm has been sentenced to 60 years in prison with all but 55 years to serve, followed by five years of probation for his role in the 25-year-old Darvish's death in December 2021.
