The Maryland Attorney General's Office has released its report on a deadly officer-involved barbershop shooting in Baltimore last year. Shortly after 3 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2021, off-duty Baltimore Police Sgt. David Burch was getting a haircut at Bladi Style Barbershop on O’Donnell Street when Carlos David Ortega walked in and pulled out a handgun from his waistband. A Baltimore group of shoplifters— including wanted felonies— led police on a wild chase in Pennsylvania, authorities say.
