Officer Shoots Suspicious Armed Man During Pursuit In Northwest DC: Police One person was hospitalized overnight when an officer was forced to shoot him during a foot pursuit in Northwest DC, officials say.  At around 8:30 p.m. on Monday night, members of the Metropolitan Police Department on patrol in the 900 block of F Street NW tried to stop a suspect they believed to be carrying a weapon.
