The Prince George's County Police Department is seeking the public's assistance as they attempt to identify and locate a pair who may have been implicated in a fatal hit-and-run in Capitol Heights over the weekend.
Capitol Heights resident Dyanny Leiva Sabillon, 20, was struck at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, May 28 in the 6700 block of Calmos Street by a duo in a stolen car who attempted to flee while caroming off of several parked vehicles in the area.
Police say that the initial investigation found that a driver and passenger were driving along Calmos Street when they struck an unoccupied car, then hit Sabillon, who was either entering or exiting her vehicle in an otherwise quiet neighborhood.
After striking her, the driver collided with several more vehicles before coming to a rest. The two then fled the area on foot.
Sabillon was treated at the scene before being taken to an area hospital, where she died from her injuries.
The agency released a photo on Tuesday, May 30 of two persons of interest connected to the case, and they are not attempting to track them down for questioning.
Anyone with information regarding the suspects or fatal hit-and-run has been asked to contact investigators by calling (301) 731-4422.
