Massive 9/11 Motorcycle Ride Flies Through DMV This Weekend (Track THE Route)
One of the largest motorcycle rides commemorating 9/11 sets off Friday morning, Aug. 18, touring Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC, and New Jersey before closing off at Ground Zero on Sunday, Aug. 20.

Organized by America's 9/11 Foundation, the annual ride raises funds for college scholarships for children of active first responders across the U.S., and assists emergency organizations with funds, materials, equipment and sometimes volunteers.

Harley-Davidson 'HOG' Group To Tour Maryland During Rally
Hundreds of HOGS are heading to Maryland.
Harley-Davidson has chosen Solomons in Calvert County as the location for one of their mid-Atlantic Regional HOG (Harley Owners Group) rallies, bringing upwards of 1,500 motorcyclists to the region.
The rally begins on Thursday, June 23, and will run through Saturday, June 25, officials from the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office said.

Rich Strike Declines Invite To Preakness, Will Not Compete For Triple Crown
Rich Strike, the 148th winner of the Kentucky Derby, will not be attempting a Triple Crown run after his owner turned down the invitation to the Preakness Stakes in a statement.
