DC Man Killed In Double Shooting In Maryland Neighborhood, Police Say

Police say that a Washington, DC man was killed in a double shooting in Prince George’s County on Monday night.

Sean Hodge, 33, has been identified by the Prince George’s County Police Department as the person who was shot and later died at an area hospital after a shooting in the 7700 block of Penbrook Place in Landover.

At approximately 10:50 p.m. on Monday, July 31, officers were called to the park, where they found Hodge suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries, according to investigators.

A second man was also injured, though they were described as being non-life-threatening. He remained hospitalized on Tuesday morning.

No information about the shooter or possible shooters has been released by investigators.
