A hit-and-run driver who killed a 64-year-old District woman in Prince George's County has been apprehend, the Bladensburg Police Department announced. Beltsville resident Jerome Michael Phillip Young, 42, was arrested on a warrant following the investigation into the fatal crash involving Susan Woodard earlier this month. Infant's Death In DC Due To Fentanyl Intoxication Ruled A Homicide: MPD
Months after 2-month old Amiri Royal Bynum was found unconscious and later died, her death is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Metropolitan Police Department. Late in the morning on Monday, May 27, officers were called to an apartment in the 1400 block of Newton Street NW, where there was an unconscious infant. She was rushed by DC Fire and EMS personnel to an area hospital where she would later die. Four people were rushed to area hospitals - one of whom died - following a two-vehicle crash on Saturday morning in Prince George's County, police say. At approximately 9:45 a.m. on Aug. 31, the northbound lanes of Branch Avenue were closed between Beech Road and Auth Way in Temple Hills during a crash investigation.
