The blaze broke out in a second-floor unit at 5151 Allentown Road — the Days Inn by Wyndham Camp Springs/Andrews — around 7:40 a.m. Monday, March 11.
Crews found one person deceased as they extinguished the flames.
No other injuries were reported.
The fire is under investigation.
