Teen Charged As Adult For Stabbing Victim In The Back During Maryland Fight, Sheriff Says A teenager is facing criminal charges after stabbing another 16-year-old in the back during a fight in Frederick County, according to the sheriff's office. Before midnight on Saturday, Aug. 10, deputies were called to an area hospital, where there was a teenager suffering from a stab wound sustained during a fight in the Ballenger neighborhood earlier that night. Following the fight, the victim was taken to an area trauma center in stable condition, and the initial investigation determined he was in the area to fight the suspect who then attacked and stabbed him repeatedly in the back. Teen Expected To Be Charged As Adult For Targeted Shooting In Washington County, Police Say A 16-year-old is expected to be charged as an adult after a person was shot in the middle of the day in Hagerstown, police say. Shortly before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, officers were called to the 100 block of East Washington Street, where they investigated a reported shooting involving the teen and treated a 41-year-old man for a gunshot wound to the leg.
