First responders were called around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 to the 11000 block of Highland School Road, where there was a reported fire in Myersville. Dozens of firefighters were called to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church on New Hampshire Avenue in Spencerville at around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, when an automatic alarm alerted them to the fire. Two Dead, One Hurt In Fiery I-270 Crash In Maryland
Two people were killed and one other injured in a three-vehicle crash on I-270 in Montgomery County that blocked several lanes early on Friday morning, officials say. Fire and Rescue personnel were called at around 5 a.m. on June 21 to a stretch of the northbound lanes of the interstate, where there was a fiery crash that left two people trapped inside, while a third was able to escape, but suffered undisclosed injuries.
