Police ID 29-Year-Old Man Killed In Prince George's County Shooting
Police are investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the life of a Temple Hills man early Friday morning in Oxon Hill, authorities said. Harvey Jones Jr., 29, was found suffering from gunshot wounds outside in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road around 12:30 a.m. on Dec. 27, according to Prince George’s County police. A District woman who was shot during a dispute in Oxon Hill last week has died of her injuries at the hospital, police said. On Tuesday, Nov. 26, at approximately 2:45 a.m., officers responded to the 6200 block of Oxon Hill Road for a reported shooting, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department. Upon arrival, officers found 26-year-old Tamara Jones inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound. Police ID Maryland Woman Killed By Hit-Run Driver In Prince George's County
Prince George’s County police investigators are searching for a driver who struck and killed a 52-year-old woman on Oxon Hill Road Thursday night, then fled the scene without stopping, officials say. Temple Hills resident Sandra Abarca Orellana has been identified as the person killed overnight by a hit-and-run driver. According to police, Abarca Orellana was struck and killed around 9:10 p.m. on Nov. 21 in the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road. Pedestrian Killed By Hit-Run Driver In Prince George's County Identified By Police
A driver is at large after a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian over the weekend in Prince George's County, police say. Oxon Hill resident Melvin Garcia, 35, has been identified by investigators as the person who was killed by a driver who fled the scene on Friday afternoon. According to the Prince George's County Police Department, at around noon on Aug. 16, Garcia was struck in the 6200 block of Oxon Hill Road in Oxon Hill in an area parking lot by a driver in a truck.
