Improperly Disposed Smoking Materials Possibly To Blame For Maryland Garage Fire The cause of a massive fire that tore through a Montgomery County garage and damaged a home has been determined to possibly be improperly disposed smoking materials, investigators say. Late on Friday afternoon, first responders were called to the 13600 block of Cherrydale Drive near Glenn Mill Road in Rockville, where there was a reported fire in a garage that spread to an area home. Teens In Stolen Car Lead To Crash That Condemned Maryland Home, Officials Say A house suffered "significant damage" on Friday morning in Anne Arundel County when a group of teens crashed a purportedly stolen vehicle into the residence, police say. Officers were called shortly before 3 a.m. on Sept. 27 to the 5200 block of Kramme Avenue in Brooklyn, where there was a report of a team of minors tampering with with auto.
