Maryland Teens Busted With Weed, Weapons During Stop For Broken Brake Light: Sheriff A broken brake light led to charges for a pair from Hampstead who were caught with drugs and weed during a midday traffic stop in Taneytown, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office. Dashawn Melique Lewis, 19, and a 15-year-old who will be charged as a juvenile, were taken into custody on Wednesday morning after a patrol officer spotted them driving on West Baltimore Street with a suspended registration and inoperable brake light.
