Community Supporting Family Of Toddler Killed By Car While Wandering In Maryland Parking Lot A Maryland family is reeling after a 2-year-old toddler was struck and killed by a driver in Anne Arundel County this week. Cody Aguilar Gómez was identified this week as the child who was killed in a parking lot in the 600 block of Americana Drive while his mother was removing a sibling from the family's vehicle to enjoy a day in the pleasant weather.  The incident was reported shortly before 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
