A witness told Maryland State Police that Sen. John Fetterman was driving over the speed limit when his car rear-ended another on Sunday, June 9, according to a crash report. A 29-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight in Anne Arundel County, according to Maryland State Police. Annapolis resident Shannon Rita Alan was identified by investigators as the driver who crashed shortly before 10 p.m. on Thursday, June 6 in the southbound lanes of I-97 near Route 50.
