Several pets had to be treated and a person was displaced following a weekend house fire in Prince George's County, officials say. At approximately 6:15 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, first responders were called to a two-story residence in the 6600 block of Karlson Court in Chillum, where there was "a home with excessive storage conditions and fire in the basement." Shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, members of the Prince George's County Fire Department were called to the 5200 block to investigate a reported house fire inside a single-family home.
