District Heights resident Daryl McCall was killed over the weekend following an incident that broke out late on Friday afternoon, police say. He was found at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Sept. 27 in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway. Fireworks Confiscated From Fiery I-270 Crash Scene In Maryland, Officials Say The investigation into a vehicle fire on I-270 early on the Fourth of July led to the recovery of fireworks in Montgomery County, officials say. First responders were called to a stretch of the southbound lanes of the interstate at around 4 a.m. near Montrose Road in Rockville, where there was a reported crash involving two vehicles, one of which was fully engulfed in flames.
