Two Baltimore County men who posed as police officers to abduct and torture their victims as part of a larger robbery conspiracy have been convicted following a three-week trial, federal authorities announced. The man who took his girlfriend on a harrowing chase with members of the Calvert County Sheriff's Office before she was ditched from his motorcycle is facing kidnapping and other charges, authorities announced. The man who took an unexpected joyride with an unwitting car dealership employee in Southern Maryland has been convicted, according to the St. Mary's County State's Attorney's Office.
