Charles County Launches 'Drive Sober' Campaign With Free Uber Rides, Holiday Safety Push
The Charles County State’s Attorney’s Office (SAO) is bringing back its annual “Drive Sober” initiative for the fourth year, aiming to keep impaired drivers off the roads during one of the deadliest times of the year. Running from Nov. 25, 2024, to Jan. 1, 2025, the program offers holiday revelers an extra incentive to avoid drinking and driving: free or discounted Uber rides.
