According to the Maryland Lottery, the ticket matched the first five numbers—17, 26, 30, 47, 57—from the Wednesday, June 18 drawing, missing only the Cash Ball (04) to claim the game’s top prize.
Still, it was enough to lock in the second-tier win: a $1,000 weekly payday for life, or a $1 million lump sum before taxes.

An argument turned deadly in Maryland — now a 25-year-old is charged with murder.
Kyon Adams, of Lanham, is accused of killing 33-year-old Cameron Smith during a shooting on Lanham Severn Road, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
The shooting happened on Monday, May 19, around 8:20 p.m., officials said.
Officers responded to the 9300 block of Lanham Severn Road for a report of gunfire, and upon arrival, they found Smith suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
