New details have been released by Virginia State Police investigators after two children were among five Massachusetts residents killed in a violent crash on I-95 in Stafford County on Friday morning. Shortly after 2:30 a.m. on May 29, troopers were called to the southbound lanes of I-95 in Stafford, where a bus plowed into traffic that was slowing for an upcoming work zone. There was a fatal pedestrian crash in a work zone along I-95 in Harford County on Tuesday morning, state police say. Shortly after 8:30 a.m. on Aug. 6, troopers were called to the southbound lanes of the interstate near the Maryland 152 overpass in Joppa, where there was a crash involving a pedestrian and dump truck. Two people were hospitalized after crashing into a dump truck in a work zone on I-695 in Baltimore County, according to Maryland State Police. Jamal Dates, 27, of Parkville, and 27-year-old Baltimore resident Marqesha Young, have been identified by police investigators as the pair involved in the crash involving their Toyota Corolla, the truck, and a Honda Accord.
